To support our continued growth across our different brands, we are looking for an Material Supply & Logistics Planner to own our material supply, global freight, customs, and inbound/outbound logistics network. In this role, you are the connective tissue between our international supply base, our production floors in Europe, and our distribution partners around the world. You ensure that the right quantity of goods move reliably, cost-efficiently, and compliantly across borders making sure that our three operating companies always have what they need, when they need it.
what you will do
Calculate material requirements by translating forecasts, sales orders, production needs, BOM structures, lead times, MOQ’s, open purchase orders, and current stock levels into accurate required component volumes.
Own the component availability plan to ensure that our European assembly and production sites have the right materials available at the right time.
Monitor inventory coverage and shortage risks by reviewing stock levels, demand changes, inbound shipments, supplier confirmations, and production priorities.
Track and manage the inbound material pipeline from supplier to European warehouse, proactively flagging delays, shortages, excess risks, and timing gaps.
Coordinate mitigation actions with sourcing, production, logistics, and commercial teams when material availability could impact customer orders or production continuity.
Ensure full customs compliance across all imports and exports: documentation, duties, country of origin, and applicable trade regulations for all relevant markets.
Support the group S&OP process with accurate material requirement calculations, inbound pipeline visibility, and proactive supply-risk insights.
Optimise inbound flows by balancing material urgency, freight cost, sea-versus-air decisions, consolidation opportunities, and production requirements.
Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to secure reliable international inbound flows for critical components.
Ensure customs compliance across imports and exports, including documentation, duties, country of origin, and applicable trade regulations.
Own outbound export flows from our European production sites to 3PL partners and distribution points outside Europe, ensuring reliable supply and correct documentation.
Monitor 3PL stock and replenishment performance by tracking stock levels, in-transit shipments, delivery cycles, and service performance for international markets.
what we are looking for
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in international logistics, freight management, or supply chain operations
Basic knowledge of international freight: sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, incoterms, customs procedures, and import compliance.
Experience managing and replenishing international 3PL partners; stock visibility, replenishment planning, and service level management.
Comfortable working across multiple entities and stakeholders in a decentralised, fast-growing group structure.
Data-driven and structured; you build visibility, measure what matters, and act on it.
Hands-on and pragmatic, you are equally comfortable designing a process and picking up the phone to fix a shipment in crisis.
Fluent in English; additional languages (Dutch, French) are a strong asset.
