International Logistics Coordinator
who we are
At prado, we build invisible home technology for the world’s best architects. Since launching our first flagship product in 2021, we have grown into a fully integrated ecosystem of lighting, ventilation, power and security solutions. Our strong R&D focus and targeted M&A strategy fuel our rapid expansion, with 150 + colleagues operating across Europe, North America and the Middle East.
To support our continued growth across our different brands, we are looking for an International Logistics Coordinator to own our global freight, customs, and inbound/outbound logistics network. In this role, you are the connective tissue between our international supply base, our production floors in Europe, and our distribution partners around the world. You ensure that goods move reliably, cost-efficiently, and compliantly across borders making sure that our three operating companies always have what they need, when they need it.
what you will do
Own the end-to-end international freight operation, sea, air, and courier, from supplier to delivery at our European warehouses.
Manage and develop relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers
Support group-level negotiation of contracts that leverage our combined volumes across three companies.
Ensure full customs compliance across all imports and exports: documentation, duties, country of origin, and applicable trade regulations for all relevant markets.
Track and manage the inbound pipeline, proactively flagging delays and coordinating mitigation with the planning and sourcing teams.
Drive freight cost optimisation by monitoring spend, analysing sea versus air decisions, and identifying consolidation opportunities across the group.
Support the group S&OP with accurate inbound pipeline data and proactive risk flagging on supply continuity.
Own the outbound export flows from our European production sites to our 3PL partners and distribution points outside Europe, ensuring reliable supply, correct documentation, and full customs compliance in destination markets.
Manage the operational relationships with our international 3PLs by setting clear service level expectations, monitoring performance, and driving corrective action when standards are not met.
Drive visibility of the outbound pipeline: stock levels at 3PL locations, in-transit shipments, and replenishment cycle performance making this data available to the planning and commercial teams.
what we are looking for
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in international logistics, freight management, or supply chain operations
Deep knowledge of international freight: sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, incoterms, customs procedures, and import compliance.
Proven experience managing freight forwarder and carrier relationships.
Experience managing and replenishing international 3PL partners; stock visibility, replenishment planning, and service level management.
Strong understanding of customs regulations and import/export compliance across multiple geographies
Comfortable working across multiple entities and stakeholders in a decentralised, fast-growing group structure.
Data-driven and structured; you build visibility, measure what matters, and act on it.
Hands-on and pragmatic, you are equally comfortable designing a process and picking up the phone to fix a shipment in crisis.
Fluent in English; additional languages (Dutch, French) are a strong asset.
what we offer
prado is a fast-scaling international company with the ambition to lead its market.
Guided by a family-driven philosophy, you will feel quickly at home thanks to our warm work environment.
You’ll work in an inspiring team that encourages passion and excellence, where ambition and collaboration go hand in hand.
The role offers a challenging scope of responsibilities, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
We offer a competitive salary package tailored to your experience and skills.
