As part of the prado Group, Atelier Luxus is entering a new growth phase. To support this evolution, we are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to support our Research & Development team.You will be working with five fellow designers, as well as closely collaborating with the production and commercial teams.
You will be responsible for transforming design concepts into robust, production-ready mechanical systems. Your role is to ensure that every product meets our highest standards in terms of precision, durability and manufacturability. In the luxury industry, details are not optional, they define the product.
what you will do
Develop prototypes, new products and components according to the applicable standards and applicable regulations.
Prepare a technical record for the components to be purchased
Write the necessary instructions, calculation programs and draft the technical documentation.
Cooperate with the production department to have your system ready for production.
Look for technical solutions to complaints and work out proposals for improvement.
Give technical support to the sales and production department, you also provide the necessary training so that the knowledge is spread across all departments.
Participate in R&D meeting where you report on your project.
Ensure appropriate documentation and communication so that cooperation with colleagues runs smoothly.

Take full responsibility for the technical robustness, feasibility and documentation of your designs until production readiness.
what we are looking for
Technical Master (construction, electromechanics, etc.) in Engineering.
3–7 years of experience in product development within a technical manufacturing environment (mechanical systems, hardware, precision components).
Preferably knowledge of one of the following fields: technical lighting, joinery, heat dissipation.
You have knowledge of 2D and 3D drawing and strength theory.
You are always curious about the state of the art and work out the feasibility of new mechanical systems.
A fascination with AI, and a desire to work in an environment that encourages open experimentation and exploration
You get energy from developing ideas into successful finished products.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
You are creative and a driven team player who can also function independently.
You are highly rigorous, structured and detail oriented. You understand that in high-end manufacturing, precision is non-negotiable.
You are solution-driven and comfortable taking ownership of technical challenges.
You thrive in an environment where standards are high and continuous improvement is expected.
